Cricket is very famous sports of the world. Many new countries are starting and involving in cricket game. In fact, fame of cricket is forced them to move on with this sports. Base ball and other sports have their own recognition, but cricket is some different and unique sports. There are many ways and techniques how a batsman tries to hit the cricket ball. Every batsman has its own style. Front foot technique and back foot technique are important techniques of bating. It is depend upon batsman that how he changes his position during bating whether he plays with back foot technique or front foot technique, but important thing is that how any bowler throws the ball from batsmans side? This is important because batsman will show his style after bowlers throwing delivery.
Some batsmans are expert on front foot technique and some or expert with back foot. Front foot techniques means that batsmans front foot stretched down and his weight is on his front foot, and then he plays his stroke and back foot technique means batsman pushes back his back foot towards the wicket.
Front foot defensive and back foot defensive style is similar, just different is that during playing back foot defensive short, batsman transfer his weight on his back foot. This is a totally defending shot and batsman purpose is only saving his wicket either than making runs. Some balls are very good, which throwing by bowler and batsman thinks that he should try to save his wicket and should wait for the loose delivery. In test matches, so many times, this kind of defensive shots played from batsmans side because margin of over are more than one day match. Batsman has enough chances of saving and waiting for loose deliveries. One day cricket is fast and sometimes, batsman needed fast scores and he forced to play shorts in any ball. This is a risky situation for any batsman.
During back foot defensive shot, ball can bounce higher and reached later to the batsman. Another shot of batsman which called cut. The purpose of the shot is only making runs and batsman tries to pull that shot in his selected area. The important thing is that this is not necessary batsman will succeed in his effort, sometimes, batsman tries to cut according to his choice, but he makes out. Bat of the batsman moves where batsman wants to swing and hit the ball in any position. For playing cut shots, batsman needed skill and many batsman of the world are famous because of their cut shots.
Pull shot is another type of cricket shot; batsman pulls the ball in the leg side and gets run. This is also very technical shot from batsman and needs care because wrong selection of the shot can end the batsmans innings. The more difficult shot of cricket is called hook. Hook shot needed more than care than cutting or pulling the ball. Batsman hooks the ball when balls comes in high way as if ball is high and height of the ball his on head of the batsman or more than batsmans head, then batsman tries to hit and if batsman gets succeed to correctly hooking the ball, then he can make 6 runs. This is a risky short so that is the reason that why many batsmen are ignored to play hooks shots and tries to save them. These batsmen use two different methods whether he left the ball and did not touch with their bat or they sit down and ball pass away in the head and goes to wicket keeper.
